Simple trick to open BSNL /ISP blocked /banned website

ISP/BSNL BLOCKED websites: We do not suggest to do any illegal thing but some time you might face problem to open genuine website for your work. This article small trick might work for you. We have seen many issues when BSNL or other ISP users face problem to open website which they claim genuine. Many times when any ISP block any website they block this on their DNS server so when you try to access website it will not open because your machine is requesting to open website from your ISP DNS. Now we are suggesting you to change your computer DNS address to google global DNS server where nothing is blocked as this might help you to open BSNL blocked websites. Follow few steps which might work for you but before this we would suggest you to double check whether website is down or not as this will not work if website is down. 

For Windows 7, 8 and 10 user – 

Step 1 – Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center

If you have problem in above step you can directly type “Network and Sharing Center” in search bar and this will also open your computer “Network and Sharing Center”

Step 2 – In left sidebar – > Click Change adapter settings

Step 3 – Right-click the Internet connection (TATA Photon, MTNL, BSNl etc.) on which you’re having trouble accessing websites or on Wi-FI (if you are using wi-fi to connect internet) and click Properties.
Step 4 – Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP), and then click Properties. 

Step 5 – Click the radio button next to “Use the following DNS Server address”.  Now enter Google DNS, enter 8.8.8.8 as the Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 as the Alternate DNS Server. After entering these, click OK.. Try with google DNS and if it will not work then try Open DNS IP – 202.67.220.220 and 202.67.222.222 respectively.

Windows XP user can try below – 

Step 1 – Click Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Now select your specific Internet connection with access problems, right-click, then select Properties.
Step 2 – Left-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and select Properties 

Step 3 – Follow above 5th step
