“Megabit per second” network मे data transfer को नापने की या calculate करने की एक term है जिसको की short cut मे Mbps ya Mb/s or Mbit/s भी कहा जाता है | यह unit बताती है की एक second मे कितने Megabit data transfer हो सकता है | एक Megabit मे 1000 Kilobits होते है |

यह भी network मे data transfer को नापने की या calculate करने की एक unit है जो की बताती है की एक second मे कितने Kilobit data transfer किया जा सकता है | इसको Kbps or KB/s भी कहा जाता है |

Mbps vs Kbps

यहाँ पर second character का बहुत importance है क्योकि MBps, Mbps या केबीपीएस, Kbps मे अगर second character छोटा ‘b’ है तो इसका मतलब होगा “bits” जबकि second character अगर बड़ा “B” है तो इसका मतलब होगा “byte”|

1 Byte = 8 bits

1,000 bps = 1 Kbps = .008 Mbps

1000 Kbps =1 Mbps = 125 KBps

1000 Mbps = 1 Gbps

1 KB = 1,000 Byte = 0.008 Mb

1,000 KBps = 1 MBps = 8 Mbps

1 GBps = 1,000 MBps

Conversion Formulas

Kbps (Kilobits per second) to Mbps (Megabits per second) –

Mbps = Kbps ÷ 1,000

Mbps to Kbps –

Kbps = Mbps x 1,000

Mbps to KBps is –

KBps (Kilobytes per second) = Mbps x 125

Kilobytes per second to Megabits per second is –

Megabits per second = Kilobytes per second ÷ 125
