What is Bluetooth Technology

Bluetooth Technology kya hai : Bluetooth को use करते हुए mobile phones, computers, and personal digital assistants (PDAs) को short-range मे आपस मे without wire (wireless) conect किया जा सकता है| Bluetooth एक global wireless communication standard जो की devices को एक fixed distance पर आपस मे connects करता है | इसको हम और technically explain करते हुए कह सकते है की Bluetooth एक wireless technology स्टैण्डर्ड है जो की short-wavelength UHF radio waves (in the ISM band from 2.4 to 2.485 GHz)को use करते हुए short distance मे devices को connect करता है | Bluetooth को telecom vendor Ericsson ने 1994 मे invent किया था | इसको शुरुआत मे RS-232 data cables के alternative के लिए बनाया गया था

History – इस technology का unusual name king of Denmark Harald Bluetooth (in the mid-tenth सेंचुरी) के नाम पर दिया गया है |

Maximum Range – The maximum range is 10 meters (33ft) [Class 2, most commonly found in mobile devices]

How Bluetooth works?

Bluetooth devices को आपस मे कनेक्ट करने के लिए wires and cables की जगह radio waves use करती है | कोई भी Bluetooth product, जैसे की headset or watch Bluetooth radio के साथ एक छोटी सी computer chip (transceiver chip- transmits and receives frequency) और उसको कनेक्ट करने के लिए software भी रखती है | जब दो Bluetooth devices को आपस मे कनेक्ट करना होता है तो उनको pair करना पड़ता है | Bluetooth devices के बीच Communication बहुत short-रेंज से होता है जिसको की ad hoc networks known as piconet कहते है | A piconet is a network of devices connected using Bluetooth technology. The network ranges from two to eight connected devices. जैसे ही Bluetooth devices radio proximity मे enter होती है या बहार निकलती है तो Piconets dynamically and ऑटोमेटिकली establish हो जाता है | जब devices के बीच network establish हो जाता है तो एक डिवाइस master एवं दूसरी डिवाइस slave का role करती है |

Bluetooth Technology Advantages :-

Best for short range communication
Not dependent on wires and cables
World wide acceptable standard

Bluetooth Technology Disadvantages :-

Made only for short range
Data transmission Speed limit
Not suitable for high bandwidth
